Am exhausted, and will post the final Round #1 #lobster vs. moose miles tomorrow, giving everyone a chance to log the last miles for the Oct. 1-14 sub-challenge.

    Had hoped to avoid racers in the 10-mile trail run this morning, but misread the map and saw them all as they ran up and down Snows Mountain. Fortunately plenty of room, and not too many runners. To meet @Ghost's challenge: Dedicating the long run to SK's The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three - haven't read it yet, or seen the series, but it's on my list because of #lobstrosity. Read about this monster lobster in a book entitled I, Lobster, about the history of the crustacean in art, literature, music, movies, history, science and cuisine. And taking a page from @LibertyPenguin, am splitting these miles to give more to Team #lobster, as it needs to catch up with #moose: 8 miles to Lobster, 3.62 to Moose.

    You don't need to type #lobster everytime, as I now have you down on the team roster. But you could if you like! Also, if you go to your bio page and edit it, you can add lobster WITHOUT hashtag in the groups field. Then you will be added to the racery group by that name. Since racery's group includes all miles to July 20, I'm keeping separate spreadsheets for the Oct. 1-14 lobster vs. moose challenge. But the racery group will be fun to look at at the end of this race, to see which team logged most miles between July 20 and Dec. 8. Anyone can join the teams anytime, doesn't have to be for the Oct. 1-14 challenge.

    Just one today, but trying to start going some speed work. Team moose, I guess because that most resembles my running style Although if there were a team penguin, that'd be ideal. Since I'm doing 13.1 at MDI, 26.2 over two weeks should be doable.

Then in the groups field, type moose WITHOUT the hashtag. And if you want to be counted in the Oct. 1-14 Lobster vs. Moose challenge, just let me know how many miles of the nearly 50 you just put in were from between Oct. 1 and today, and I can add you to the spreadsheet under #moose. Let me know what you think your total mileage between Oct. 1 and Oct. 14 will be, and if you meet that goal, you get an extra entry in the gift giveaways. There will be more 2-week #lobster vs. #moose subchallenges after this first round.     Thanks for the head's up, @LizInTheWoods and @CaptDave. Have let racery know. You can also try logging miles on Web site instead of the app, or using a different device - laptop vs. iPhone vs desktop. I've been using a Microsoft Surface, and haven't had issue.

If you hit that mileage goal, another extra entry in the giveaway for you! I'll be inviting everyone who's picked a team to a couple of new groups I'm forming, #lobster and #moose.
