                  Run 4 Their Lives is a Freedom 4/24 event that raises awareness and funds to bring sexually exploited women and children into freedom.

                  Freedom isn’t free. Here’s proof: It costs $116 a month for each of the 20 girls who now call Christine’s House “home.” As our Freedom 4/24’s partner in Gulu, Uganda, Christine’s House provides to these victims of human trafficking housing, food, medical care, trauma counseling, vocational training, social interaction, faith and life skills training, all for $116 a month. You can help them provide this place of hope and freedom!

                  In 2017, Freedom 4/24 will be highlighting the efforts of its partner, Christine's House at each of its Run 4 Their Lives events, including the Run 4 Their Lives Uganda Virtual Event.

                  This virtual run enables you to support the efforts of providing freedom and justice to girls at Christine's House from anywhere around the world while engaging in the unique experience of running ACROSS UGANDA!

                  Teams of 1-5 people will run the 207 miles from the capital of Uganda to Gulu where Christine's House is located, you can log your miles every day from wherever you live and receive a virtual update of your team's progress. Be an advocate for freedom and Run 4 Their Lives! Gather 4 friends OR create a team and try to tackle the mileage alone. **IF running alone, you'll still have to create a team.

                  To keep everyone on the same page, we've come up with some guidelines:
                  • We operate on the honor system... you don't have to use a device to prove your miles -- a good map suffices.
                  • Only running or walking miles please! (NOTE: miles on a racer's personal log are for all races they are in, over all sports.)
                  • No step counters, please just use intentional miles.
                  • Please attribute your mileage to the appropriate day -- don’t combine mileage from multiple days.
                  • Please only backdate mileage for a race up to two weeks in the past.
                  • Only mileage added before the event officially closes on April 30th at 23:59:59 EST will count in the leaderboards.
