                Hi Racers! We've extended the route because you were crushing the previous route! We're now going to be turning around and heading back down to South Carolina to the location where the Vietnam scenes were filmed! This should take the race to just above 1,300 miles. :)

                How come when I log my miles, it doesn't post on top of the recent activity anymore. I post my miles today at 10:20 pm, but it says I ran 23 hours ago

                  This February, we're going to be chasing Forrest as a team!

                  You'll still be able to see your individual miles, and your miles will count toward the overall goal.

                  This route makes stops at several filming locations from the movie:

                  1. Forrest's Home in Greenbow, AL (actually Bluff Plantation in SC)

                  2. Woods Memorial Bridge (where reporters were running with Forrest)

                  3. Debi's Restaurant (where Jenny sees Forrest running on tv)

                  4. Chippewa Square (where Forrest tells the woman 'life is like a box of chocolates')

                  5. Grandfather Mountain (where Forrest runs up a hairpin turn with others following him)

                  6. Lincoln Memorial (where Forrest sees Jenny after the war)

                  7. Vietnam Filming Location (South Carolina)
