You can convert over 70 intentional activities into miles. Just select the <<Recent Activity>> menu option and enter the time spent on the wide range of activities which also include regular excercise routines. Your time invested on any of the intentional activities are converted to miles and will push Kantar on a virtual journey across the globe starting from Wellington, New Zealand. The journey goes from East to West, and finishes in Ottawa, Canada. The 16 countries are significant as they have the highest number of registered Special Olympics athletes and unified partners and you'll pick up a bit of knowledge on the way through pin drops at each location. As you progress with your team you can fundraise for converted miles in support of Special Olympics. Our partnership with Special Olympics helps support their Global Youth Leadership Summits which provides opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to flourish!
So catch a Google Street View of the new virtual locale, then cheer your real fellow racers! You'll receive a link for some promotional items such as a #VTKC2021 bib. Share your bib on social media! Brag about your streaks or longest mileage! Kantar teams of 10 all over the globe will be competing for some exciting prizes while we proudly support Special Olympics. Here are some handy guidelines:
- Watch this video of Racery pro tips.
- Complete your bio. Include #groups to better track friends or colleagues.
- Update your passcode in settings.
- Activity conversions are based on effort. For e.g. 1 hour cycling = ~1 hour swimming = ~1 hour tennis. So lease log cycling minutes and not miles.
- To delete a log, click its gear on the right.
- We rely on the honour system. You don't have to use a device to prove your miles.
- Only log intentional exercise please.
- Attribute your exercise to the appropriate day—don't combine exercises/activities from multiple days.
- Only backdate logs for a race up to two weeks in the past.
- Activities submitted after the race ends will not count toward race leader boards.
- Please ensure you only enter time spent on intentional activities within the 30 day #VTKC time frame.
