Welcome to FriscoFIT City Challenge- 21 Day Virtual Fitness Challenge – Benefitting www.poweredtomove.org
Join the MOVEment - Fitness Challenge from May5th- May 25th.
You have 21 days to log any activity to as you make your way towards a total of 26.2 total miles.
Participate anytime, anywhere in the world- No fancy gadgets or GPS required to participate, No pressure.
Just move and log your active minutes or miles. Any and all active minutes can be logged. That includes everything from barre, yoga , cross fit, walking, running, biking and more. AND it’s accessible for all – wheelchair or hand-cycle miles count too! Our special virtual platform levels the playing field.
For the overachievers, become an ULTRA Marathoner and loop our route one or more times and you’ll be added to our Elite Leaderboard to see how you stack up against other Ultra Marathoners. Check out our virtual route, as we explore Frisco and the Surrounding North Texas Trails and Outdoor Adventures.

Registration: We've created a 100% ZERO WASTE/ SUSTAINABLE Fundraising Event.
Registration fee is a low $15.00 for Adults and Kids (plus the request of an optional donation).
Your fee Includes our DIGITAL BLING package: Digital Medal, Completion Certificate and BIB and a complete virtual race experience with many surprises along the way! Check out the swag options!
Our goal is participation at any age, stage of life and ability. This event is for everyone... who can move what you can any way you can.

Proceeds will directly support Powered to Move 501(c)(3), less platform fee of $7.50 per participant and Stripe’s 2.2% + $0.30 fee per transaction. Prize Giveaways and Incentives during the weeks of the Challenge.
RACE INFO AND GUIDELINES:
1. We rely on the honor system. You don't have to use a device to prove your miles or minutes.
2. No all-day step counting, please use intentional miles. Please attribute your activity to the appropriate day -- don't combine mileage from multiple days.
3. LOTS of intentional activity -- dancing, swimming, yoga-ing, and many more -- can be converted to miles. (See full list here .) Note: All conversions are based on a translation of steps into hour/mile. For example, an hour of moderate cycling will register as 4.83 miles on the route, while the same period of breaststroke will register as 5.14 miles. If you use a step counter while you are intentionally walking or running, just enter those as steps and we’ll convert them too!
4. You have 21 days to log any activity to complete a minimum of 26.2 total miles. No activity completed before 5/5/19 counts towards this challenge! Only mileage added before the challenge officially closes on May 25th at 23:59:59 EST will count in the leaderboards.
5. If you finish the route early, keep logging to become Ultramarathoners! An Ultra leaderboard appears below the marathon leaderboard. Keep that competition alive right up to very end!
6. Last but not least, it's more fun if you log activities as part of a group, comparing progress with friends and colleagues. With thousands of people participating in this year’s event joining a group can make a big difference. Go to the Athletes tab , click the group you’d like to join, and select “race with this group.” (If you don’t see a group you want to join, read this blog post about creating a new group that others can jump into!)
