Training miles can be boring and monotonous, so in true Not So Normal style we have partnered with the awesome folks at Racery to bring you the Not So Normal Carrboro Virtual Tour from March 1st – April 14th. It is super easy to do and a great way to explore all the awesomeness Carrboro has to offer and share your miles with other Not So Normal runners as you get ready for race day.

For the incredibly low price of $1.00, plus the chance to purchase some other super cool features for your run at drastically discounted prices, you get to:

* Train on a virtual route passing dozens of Carrboro landmarks

* You'll see cool Google Street Views of Carrboro and get to know other racers before our April 15 Not So Normal Races!

* Just $1 to join, with an option to add a digital bib and -- if you're feeling competitive and want to brag a little on Facebook -- a digital finish award.

* Access to the super awesome and easy to use Racery app to log your miles, track other runners, and maybe do a little virtual boasting

* The route is 20 miles and shows you all that Carrboro has to offer, it is an amazing running town-- how many loops can you do?!

Run anywhere you want. Then log activity and see yourself move on our map and leaderboards. Catch a Google street view of your virtual locale, then cheer your real fellow racers!

We've got racers all over the globe! To keep everyone on the same page, we've come up with some handy guidelines:

  1. We rely on the honor system... you don't have to use a device to prove your miles -- a good map suffices.
  2. No step counting, please use intentional miles
  3. Only running miles please! (NOTE: miles on a racer's personal log are for all races they are in, over all sports)
  4. Please attribute your mileage to the appropriate day -- don't combine mileage from multiple days.
  5. Please only backdate mileage for a race up to two weeks in the past.
  6. Miles submitted after the race ends will not count toward race leaderboards.
