Remember everyone- today is the final day of the challenge! Make sure to log your activity by midnight tonight in the time zone within which you registered. Check out this video of Ken Koshio from Phoenix, AZ. For the past three years, Ken has hiked Piestewa Peak at sunrise carrying his drum on his back. He has joined wear blue at the peak for the past few years during our Circle of Remembrance. Awesome job, Ken! https://www.azfamily.com/20...

Once a team gets to 200 miles, they show them as "finished". Is there still a way to see the total miles without adding up all the indiviual miles of everyone?
                    2
At the bottom of the team leaderboard there is an ultramarathoner leaderboard with total miles!

team@racery.com Your interactive map is definitely screwed up, Just looking at 5 team avatars above my team. All have less miles with the lowest mileage “in the lead”. You also have the avatar for team 201 with 191 logged miles as the last avatar on the map (barely getting off the finish line.
                    5
@KERN Can you drop us a line with a screenshot at team@racery.com if anything isn't lining up for you? We'd love to investigate and a picture tells a thousand words. We appreciate you! By the way, the route on the map starts at the top and ends at the bottom. So avatars "above you" on the map should be "behind you" on the leaderboards!(although I might be missing your point 🙂) I hope that helps! 🙂
My mistake. I now see the flag says start at the top. Are we “running” the reverse of years past? I swear we always ran from bottom to top in past years. It’s okay to tell me “You’ve lost it, Chickie-poo”. Thank you for bearing with me.
Yes, I’ve lost it. We have always finished at Piestewa Peak. I think I will go sit in a corner and gather my thoughts.
@KERN No problem at all!! 🙂 Glad I could help. Thank you for participating in The Piestewa Challenge!
                    My pleasure in participating.

                    1
All miles must be logged by midnight in your time zone to count for the “current” day. I would just log it for the current day.

                    1
Great question. Start by clicking "Log Activity", then click on "Today" and you can change the date to Saturday or Sunday. And, don't forget to post a location or picture if you have it. We enjoy seeing where your activity was done and the person/people doing it.

We crossed the 200-mile marker. Our team status is not showing as 'finished'. Could you please advise?

We had to go past the 200 mile market to show as Finished
Great work. Congrats :) We are at 202+ and it's not showing us as finished still. Maybe, it takes time to update! @Kchous
Congratulations on your impressive finish. Your team status now shows FINISHED. It just took a couple of minutes because you worked harder and faster than our computers could! Strong work, Microsoft Runs in the Cloud!
                  • KERN Running the #s Mar 25
team@racery.com Is the map updating? There are 4 teams 10-20 miles from the finish. Yet, the map shows all teams south of Winslow.
                    2
You can see your "pack" on the map. If you want to see all teams on the map, please scroll to the top of the team leaderboard and click "see more." By doing that, you can see all the team avatars on the map to check their progress on the map/leaderboard!
I know how to use the map. But the avatars are slow to update. Team Microsoft says finished, but their avatar is still several miles from the finish line. The map does look better, but I don’t think it’s accurate.

is there a way to sync my strava or garmin with racery?
                    2
We have not enabled Strava for this entire event, but can do it case-by-case. Please comment if you want this. Once it's set up on this side, please go to your profile (upper right corner) and select "settings" and then link your Strava account. You can only automatically individual "running" or "walking" activities (not running/walking or others). Please contact us here again if you experience any challenges. wear blue is testing this solution.
                    Yes please

MOVE 200 MILES TO HONOR WOMEN IN MILITARY SERVICE. Build a team of up to 8 participants or join one of our wear blue teams (# sqd wear blue) as an individual and collectively move 200 miles in honor of women who have given their lives in military service. Your team will virtually move from the Hopi Reservation to Piestewa Peak, with each mile dedicated to the courage and sacrifice of an American Hero. The Piestewa Challenge honors the 179 women who have given their lives in combat operations around the globe since 9/11, 177 of whom died during the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) Campaign, as well as ALL women who have died while in service to our nation. This effort is inspired by the sacrifice of SPC Lori Ann Piestewa. SPC Piestewa is the first Native American woman service member to be killed in combat on foreign soil, as well as the first female service member killed in Iraq. Launching on 23 March 2024, we invite our community to create teams of 8 and collectively move 200 miles through 29 March to honor the lives of ALL women who died while in service. If you are re-joining us for the 2024 Piestewa Challenge, you will see that we adjusted the mileage for our event from 177 to 200 miles. The additional 23 miles symbolize the 23 years since the beginning of combat operations following 9/11. Each additional mile represents all women who died while serving our nation during each of those 23 years. wear blue supports families of all fallen service members, and honors all those who wear a uniform, regardless of the manner in which they lost their lives. Each mile of activity will honor the women who made the ultimate sacrifice, celebrate the women who died during service, and unite our community with a shared effort of purpose, health, and connection. Thank you for being a part of this community, and specifically this challenge. #wearblueruntoremember #piestewachallenge
