A crisp morning run - Just past Captain Phillips’ home (yes, the real Captain Phillips), a beautiful black bear crossed the road about 40 yards in front of me. Just beautiful.....

@TrailCate You know, you are right. I was was starting to drag a bit pre-bear, but when I saw the bear, my pace did pick up. I have to admit that I did look back over my shoulder just to be sure I didn't have company, but they are usually so timid. I was just happy it dodged the traffic....
Ran this morning - extremely humid (even my shoes were soaked with sweat by the time I got home). Good morning for sweaty photos/videos! Looks like more of the same tomorrow.....

@EMB It really is most of the year, but there are some winter days where the wind sounds like a freight train, and the snow just doesn't stop. I guess even those days are beautiful in their own way......
This morning an old guy in a pick-up stops near me when I’m almost home. I thought he needed directions so I stopped. He shouts out his window,”You sure put a lot of miles in FOR AN OLD GUY!” I started to laugh, and replied, “OLD GUY?!?!?” We both laughed...
