Bio: Hi, I'm GenevaGranny because due to a lot of circumstances, I am in Geneva Switzerland living with my daughter, her husband her 4 daughters. I am a retired educator and I currently walk between 3-5 miles a day. I am transitioning to a whole plant based diet with No SOS soon. Although right now, all oils and salts are not out of my diet. I am always looking for fun things to occupy my time since I'm sort of stuck here. I'm praying to get back to the USA by July 1st.
Wow! @GenevaGranny your miles are boggling to me! I have 4 grandchildren who live about 20 minutes. I have not seen them in almost a year except on texted videos, and thru car windows as they came to pick up their birthday presents. I understand a bit how you feel about getting back for the birthday!
I really feel your isolation. This year has been so different than I planned. But it has allowed me to focus on my health, which is the reasons I am on this Grand Canyon Adventure with you @GrandmaYogi
It looks to me like you have done a great job working on your health, @GenevaGranny . A great way to spend the last year, for sure. I am rebuilding after having Covid last April and still having some symptoms. My asthmatic lungs are now beginning to improve significantly. I am hopeful that my breathing will get back to where is was before I got sick!
I finally got my spinach streusel. I bought 2 but bread only lasts about 3 days before it goes stale, so I will eat it Sat. No good once it goes in the fridge. It took 3 walks to 3 different stores and they finally had it but they were all out of my cold pressed juice. Today was the longest walk, I will only walk about 5 miles tomorrow.
Longest personal walk.
Passed 124 walkers moving Maya &Friends into #62.
I am glad you finally got your spinach streusel. It sounds delicious. Thank you for joining this team and your contributions to it! I hope you make it home soon.
Thanks for the Well Wishes, I have 8 grandkids, 4 over here with me in Geneva, so Yes, I must make it home by the birthday of the youngest in July, I missed it in 2020@GrandmaYogi
