Fun Fact: The Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters (1925) – This was the first Black labor union to be chartered in the U.S., fighting for fair wages and working conditions for Black railway workers.
This sounded interesting so I read the story. It was interesting to see it took 12 years to get the Union in giving the time they started trying (1867). I'm glad to see they didn't stop trying and were successful especially with the working conditions they forced to endure. Thanks for sharing
