Remote work finds its groove

Remote work, which accounted for 7% of work days prepandemic and rocketed past 60% in mid 2020, seems to have stabilized at 26% of workers, reports the Wall Street Journal.

That’s good news, because “work from home has enabled more women with children to remain on the job. Separately, Labor Department figures show that there has been a substantial increase in employment for people with disabilities since the pandemic, probably due at least in part to the flexibility of working from home.”
