Mapping virtual racers’ locations to foster more connections and conversations

For company HR teams or charities launching a virtual race to foster belonging among remote participants, two Racery mapping features are important.

First, before a virtual race starts, participants can see other racers’ towns. Racers can use the map to find other participants in their locale and perhaps organize a workout together. (Sharing your town is optional, of course.)

Thanks to a new feature upgrade, racers now can see which states racers come from. The organizer — whether working in HR or a charity’s development office — can use the map in a news release, blog post or email bragging about their race’s reach. See an example below…
