Bio: Shannon Mary Kent (née Smith) 5/11/1983 – 1/16/2019
U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer and Cryptologic Technician, who was killed in the 2019 Manbij bombing.
Shannon was fluent in four languages (Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish and French), respected by the seals, a cancer survivor, wife, mom of 2 young boys, and a runner. She ran multiple sub- 4 hour marathons and completed a Tough Mudder race while seven months pregnant.
